Over the last decade, the Louisiana Center for Health Equity (LCHE) has achieved success in advocating for more equitable health outcomes for Louisianans. Most notably, our campaign for Medicaid expansion has helped to secure healthcare coverage for over 500,000 people across the state. We recognize that none of this would have been possible without the support and commitment of organizations and people like you. That is why we are delighted that your organization has joined us as a partner in the effort to establish the Louisiana Office on Women’s Health.

 

Women in Louisiana continue to experience some of the worst health outcomes across the country and currently ranks 50th for overall health according to America’s Health Rankings. LCHE is working to change that narrative. With your support, we can create a new path forward to improve women’s health. As such, LCHE is committed to working toward establishing the Louisiana Office on Women’s Health to improve the health and well-being of women and girls throughout this state.

To jumpstart this campaign around improving women’s health, LCHE launched a change.org petition for the Louisiana Office on Women’s Health, which can be found by clicking here. Please take a moment to sign the petition and then share it with your members and other organizations of which you are affiliated. Our goal is to reach 10,000 signatures for the petition, and with your help, we can achieve this goal.
